Garden Themed Birthday Party

Garden Themed Birthday Party. When Dotter was a liddle nugget, I decided to throw her a Ladybug Garden Themed Birthday Party.

All the liddles were instructed to wear a pretty outfit and bring a garden hat if possible. Of course, we had a few extras in case someone forgot to bring one too.

Upon arrival, guests were lined up so they could receive their honorary green thumb via a green ink stamp pad.

The table was adorned with a ladybug tablecloth and happy garden wind banners. Listening to the chitter chat of little girls is such a sweet thing.

Desserts were served in cute little pots with flowers poked inside to look like perfect spring blooms. The best part is waiting until after guests have enjoyed lunch to tell them dessert has been sitting in front of them the entire time.

A lovely day for lovely Dotter. It almost makes a mom forget the must-have Bratz Dolls with their revealing crop tops and always-lost tiny Polly Pockets were ever a thing.

Deanna’s love for baking and cooking first began when she sat upon a baker’s stool as a little girl. Her love for people grew in the midst of church potlucks. Today, she expresses these loves creatively through speaking engagements and food writing. Deanna hosted guests, including celebrities, at her award-winning B&B in the Snoqualmie Valley. Deanna has been seen on both local and national television with her Saucy Balsamic Burgers which knocked 'N Sync's Joey Fatone to his knees. Besides her children, Deanna’s mud pie is one of the most beautiful things she has ever created.
