Easy Party Meatballs

These Easy Party Meatballs are one of the simplest and yummy treats you can make for a gathering. With party season upon us once again, let us be prepared.

This recipe is very forgiving and tastes a little different depending on what kinds of jelly you use and what brand of sauce you choose. You can even give it a little kick with a teaspoon of crushed red peppers stirred in if you like.

Easy Party Meatballs

  • 30 ounces of your favorite barbecue sauce
  • 30 ounces almost any kind of jelly (raspberry, grape, blackberry… – any of which will work great).
  • Sea salt
  • Coarse ground pepper
  • 70 to 100 pre-prepared frozen meatballs

Place barbecue sauce, jelly, and salt & pepper to taste in a large crockpot. Whisk ingredients together, then carefully add and stir in meatballs. Turn crockpot onto high heat and stir meatballs occasionally. Cook on high until meatballs are hot. This may take a couple of hours. Turn heat to low while serving.

I guarantee that these will be gone at the end of every party.

To plan for a party, make four meatballs per person. You might like to plan for more meatballs per person if you are just serving hors devours or if you have invited Sumo wrestlers or teenage boys or, well, you get the idea.
