Skagway, Alaska on Princess Cruise Line

Skagway Alaska on Princess Cruise Line. Just a fun little peek inside the Princess Cruise Line dining rooms and the menu items you can look forward to enjoying. To be honest, I only really loved a few dishes; but, I’m pickier than most when it comes to dining. On the other hand, the art of plating was alive and well and fun to photograph… to the humorous begrudging of my fellow family and tablemates. But, they were very gracious to help me get the photos I needed for you.

No, we weren’t playing Where’s Waldo. It was Italian Night.

Fettuccini Alfredo.

Tiramisu with espresso, Kahlua, and mascarpone cheese.

Rhubarb, rum & raisin, dark cherry sorbet

Chocolate Lovers Delight with dark chocolate truffle mousse, tiny gateau opera, and hazelnut chocolate parfait.

Also, cruise ships are elaborate. I hadn’t seen this much fancy since the eighties. The gold swirls, pillars, and tapestries an adjustment for this Chip & Joanna Gaines fan. Chip & Joanna, could you please get started on your perfect rustic, country charm cruise? I’ll be the first to sign up. K. Thanks.

Broiled Lobster Tail and King Prawns with grilled asparagus, rice pilaf, and lemon butter.

A Baked Alaska parade.

Movie night under the stars was breathtaking & super fun while seated upon these recliners with blankets; but, still too cold for us to finish our movie on this trip.

Water for daaaaaays. Not literally. I think we only had one day of no land in sight which was great for this little land lover.

I forgot what a monster boat we were on until we’d pull into a port and see one of our fellow cruise ships.

Deanna’s love for baking and cooking first began when she sat upon a baker’s stool as a little girl. Her love for people grew in the midst of church potlucks. Today, she expresses these loves creatively through speaking engagements and food writing. Deanna hosted guests, including celebrities, at her award-winning B&B in the Snoqualmie Valley. Deanna has been seen on both local and national television with her Saucy Balsamic Burgers which knocked 'N Sync's Joey Fatone to his knees. Besides her children, Deanna’s mud pie is one of the most beautiful things she has ever created.
