Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

This dreamy Maple Cream Cheese Frosting is perfect for all your fall favorites.

Cinnamon rolls, scones, cakes, cupcakes, or doughnuts? She’s got ya covered – literally.

Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 ounces unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 pounds powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons maple extract
  • Up to 1/8 cup warm water for thinner frosting

Place the ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix on the lowest setting so the powdered sugar doesn’t fly out of the bowl. Turn up speed after the ingredients come together and whip for a couple of minutes.

Deanna’s love for baking and cooking first began when she sat upon a baker’s stool as a little girl. Her love for people grew in the midst of church potlucks. Today, she expresses these loves creatively through speaking engagements and food writing. Deanna hosted guests, including celebrities, at her award-winning B&B in the Snoqualmie Valley. Deanna has been seen on both local and national television with her Saucy Balsamic Burgers which knocked 'N Sync's Joey Fatone to his knees. Besides her children, Deanna’s mud pie is one of the most beautiful things she has ever created.
