I haven’t blogged for a few days but I have been thinking about you. 🙂
I took a little walk around The Old Hen to show you some of our encouraging signs of spring!
This tulip was in the backyard where wwwe discovered the elk. I can’t believe it survived!
These are some of my favorites… now if I could just remember the name of them!
Ahhh… I looked them up after blogging, and here they are: Grape Hyacinths – 25 Bulbs per bag
Nothing says spring like the first week of hanging baskets. You don’t know how much of a miracle it is that they survived under my brown thumb!
And an update on our Giant White Bantam chicks. They are almost junior high age in just a couple of short months! I am curious to see if they both turn as white as they say or if one will remain more golden. You know how they say that big babies are easier to hold? I’m not so sure that applies to peeps!
I found this antique file drawer at a garage sale. It reminded me of when I was a bank teller and we had everyone’s signature literally filed away in an actual drawer at the branch they opened their account at! BTW, it wasn’t fun when we dropped the cards and had to put them all back into the correct alphabetical order. I know from experience!
So I had this fun little idea to place pots of flowers in the drawers. I’m not sure that it will work well but in the meantime, I love it!
